Freddy Guzman and Dominican Republic Win Caribbean World Series

Former member of the 2009 Yankees Championship squad (now a Philly), Freddy Guzman played a huge part in the Dominican Republic winning the 2010 Caribbean Series Championship this evening (after some other game, not sure which...).  Guzman stole home in the 7th inning of a tie game on Thursday (to give the DR a 3-2 lead - which they held) against the host: Venezuela.  Guzman also made the final out in center field on Sunday to clinch the championship (also against Venezuela).

Oh and congrats to the Saints for winning in their first Super Bowl appearance....but with the end of the Caribbean Series comes the beginning of MLB Season.  Look for plenty of coverage from 161st and River over the next couple days/weeks/months/forever.
