As many of you already know (and for those who don't know), I work as a security officer at Yankee Stadium. I've been there since 2008 -- my reflection on working the last season at the old Stadium was featured on The LoHud Yankees Blog -- and this coming season will be my third with Securitas, the company that was enlisted by the Yankees. From being able to watch every game to interacting with very passionate and knowledgeable fans, I can say that I am truly blessed to be employed at baseball's cathedral.

This job has also helped me reach 200+ followers on Twitter (look to the right), some of the most intelligent and fun-loving Yankees fans I've talked baseball with. Now while I love them to death, only a few of them have visited me at work. So I'm writing this post tonight to let everyone know the deal for 2010:

Alex Rodriguez' skeletons are cleaned from his closet (think the Eminem song) and his playoff demons exorcised. A.J. Burnett and Jorge Posada are BFFs. Joe Girardi's seat is as hot as the current weather in New York City. The Joba Chamberlain-Phil Hughes starter-reliever debate is old news at this point.

Fellow Yankees fans, we are staring in the face of a quiet Spring Training in Tampa.

Or so we thought.

As you can see from the photos below, Mark Teixeira arrived in Tampa this morning along with Alex Rodriguez.  ARod and Tex's arrival means that all position players have reported to camp and are ready to work on repeating a World Championship season.
