I am still wondering why we signed him, unless they are truly looking for him to compete for a spot on the pitching staff, no matter if its the rotation or the bullpen.

 

Im not really sure what he has left though or if he can really beat out guys like Mitre or Gaudin.

For some strange reason I like this signing. He's kinda resurrected his career as a reliever with his two very solid seasons in Philly

Word on the street is he'll be the long man so Gaudin or Mitre will probably be traded -- or Christian Garcia will be taken off the 40-man
